Employer reimbursement
Õ¬Äи£Àûµ¼º½s whose employers offer reimbursement for tuition can apply for the Employer Reimbursement Plan. This two-part Employer Reimbursement Plan Application form needs to be completed by the student and his or her employer.
NU Loan Forms
- Standard Forbearance Request To request forbearance from your loan payments for a short period of time. Please contact for more information.
- Medical Forbearance Request This request for temporary loan forbearance is for Õ¬Äи£Àûµ¼º½ University medical school graduates who are in a medical residency program or a required fellowship program. Please contact for more information.
- In School Forbearance Request This request for temporary loan forbearance is for the NU Loan only. Borrowers who are enrolled at another institution should complete the form and have it certified by an official of the school. This form should not be used if the borrower is attending classes at Õ¬Äи£Àûµ¼º½ University. Please contactfor more information.
Perkins Loan Forms
- Economic Hardship Deferment Request This request is for a postponement of principal and interest payments while you are experiencing an economic hardship. Please contact for more information.
- Unemployment Deferment Request This request is a way to postpone paying back your student loans for a certain period of time. You are eligible for this deferment only if you are not in default on your federal student loan. Please contact for more information.
- In-School Deferment Request This request allows the student to temporarily suspend payments on their student loans. Please contact for more information.
- Graduate Fellowship Deferment Request This request allows the borrower the ability to defer repayment of a loan if enrolled and in attendance as a student in a course of study that is part of a graduate fellowship program approved by the Department of Education, including graduate or postgraduate fellowship-supported study. - General Forbearance Request This request allows the borrower the ability to postpone making payments temporarily. Additional information may be required before the forbearance is approved. Interest does continue to accrue during this time. However, interest does not capitalize. Please contact for more information.
